HDBC Analyst of the Year Award
2009-2010

OVERVIEW:
HelpDesk BC is calling for nominations to identify and award British Columbia 's top first-level support analyst. Support analysts that are nominated will have an opportunity to compete with their peers locally for this prestigious award.
Nomination forms: Word format or PDF format
The nominator will submit a profile of the nominee demonstrating the nominee's understanding of industry standards, commitment to excellent service, and continued ability to exceed performance objectives.
The winner from HDBC's local chapter will be eligible to compete at the Canadian Regional competition. Each HDI Regional winner will be invited to participate in the HDI's Global Analyst of the Year Awards festivities held during the 2010 HDI Annual Conference & Expo in Orlando, Florida. This award is sponsored globally by Robert Half Technology.
Nominee Requirements:
The nomination process is open to everyone, but to qualify for nomination, at least one person from the nominee's company/site must be a member of HDBC.
The nominee must have at least 75% of their daily tasks related to direct customer Tier 1 support and the nominee needs to have been in a Tier 1 position for at least 9 months of the previous 12 months.
The nominee cannot be a member of the Awards Committee.
A commitment to excellence will be demonstrated by the Nomination Criteria as listed on the Nomination Form.
Any previous year HDBC winner in this competition is not eligible for subsequent nomination.
Nomination Process:
Complete the nomination form. All nominations must include the Profile Sheet – Part I and the Application Form – Part II to be considered
Nominations may be made by analysts, managers, peers, customers, support personnel, or the analyst themselves
All nominations will be confirmed & approved by the current Help Desk Manager. If there are more than two nominations for a company, the Help Desk Manager will select two nominees to represent their help desk.
If a nominee receives more than one nomination, all applications will be attached and provided to the judges
All nominations must be submitted electronically in PDF or MS-Word-compatible format: Select:

All nominations must be received by HelpDesk BC no later than midnight (PDT), October 15, 2009
All nominees must be available for a 15-minute personal interview conference call - to be scheduled by the Awards Committee of HelpDesk BC between October 27 – October 31, 2009 .
