Microsoft Office 2010,
The new productivity suite for Microsoft Windows, and the successor to Microsoft Office 2007 this is now
available for Volume Licensing customers and will be available in mid June for the general public. Office
2010 includes extended file compatibility, user interface updates, and a refined user experience. We will
be looking at some of the new features of Office 2010 including:
- Ribbon interface and Backstage View across all applications
- Background Removal Tool
- Letter Styling
- The Word 2007 Equation editor will become common to all applications, replacing MS Equation 3.0
- New SmartArt templates
- New text and image editing effects
- Screen Capturing and Clipping tools
- Live collaboration functions
- Jumplists in Windows 7
- New animations in Powerpoint 2010 Emailing
- File Sharing
- Social Connector – especially useful new Outlook features
- And more

About your presenter, Ginny Hardy
Ginny is a Master Office Specialist at Com-Tech Learning Solutions, Ginny provides extensive training to corporations
on how to use software applications. Ginny has her Provincial Instructors Diploma and is a Microsoft Certified Trainer.
For her there is nothing more satisfying than helping someone become less frustrated and instead more skilled and
excited about using the computer and it's present and future benefits. Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day,
teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks!
